In an increasingly competitive world of computer science, it's becoming more and more important to have programming experience from a younger age.
Project: Python is a free online Summer Crash Course run by experienced high schoolers that teaches middle schoolers how to code using Python. It is designed for both beginners who have little to no experience with coding using IDEs and more experienced coders who want to expand their Python skill set towards what's required in today's programming world.
WHY PYTHON?
Being the second largest software language in the world, Python is omnipresent in the world of computer science.
Its simplicity allows for beginners to understand and work with Python quickly and easily. Furthermore, starting your coding journey with Python allows you to have the necessary base to quickly learn other essential languages such as Java and JavaScript.
